Heavy rain lashed Delhi, inundating low-lying areas and disrupting traffic significantly. Residents in Valmiki Basti waded through waist-deep water, facing decades of recurring flooding. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi received numerous complaints of tree fall and waterlogging across the city. Traffic slowed on major roads, and waterlogging affected key points like Mahipalpur T-Point. The India Meteorological Department issued a red alert, forecasting more rain.
